Since starting his first DJ residency and subsequent show on Radio Active FM in Wellington in 2001, The Knave has spun all manner of Funk, Indie, Rock, Disco, Hip Hop, Jazz, Latin, Roots, Exotica and more.

He has supported acts such as King Gizzad & The Lizard Wizard, The Breeders, The Black Seeds, Fat Freddys Drop, The Kills, Connan Mockasin and Peaches as well as the performing The Whiskey, Wine & Fire Festival, White Night, Melbourne Film Festival & many more!

In 2010 he relocated to Melbourne, took up residency at the infamous Red Bennies nightclub and made his first appearance on PBS 106.7FM. His versatility had him hosting various shows and became a popular on-air presence. 
 Around the same time he became resident DJ for Dr Sketchy's Anti Art School and performed a number of festivals on the same bill as Portishead, Beck, Santigold, The Dandy Warhols, The Family Stone & more.

The Knave plays various nightspots & events and can be booked for private functions. He is host of 
"Five Miles To Midnight" Radio Show on WFMU's Give The Drummer Radio - streamed live from Melbourne to New York City and beyond every week.
